Distance helped him see home differently.
While studying in China, Wode Maya began creating videos that showed African life through an African perspective. What started with a camera grew into something wider. He travelled the continent to share its people, cultures and possibilities with the world.
That journey brought the story back home, not as a conclusion, but as the foundation for something more.
